Company History

Adventure in Building, Inc. was incorporated in 1990 in Cocoa, Florida. Early Construction projects included building a new custom home on Merritt Island, Florida and residential and commercial remodeling and additions. When the business relocated to Orlando in 1991, speculative renovation of residential property was the main focus. In mid 1997, Ms. Marcet began consulting work for professional Builder/Remodelers in the Central Florida area and currently also provides consulting for Design Professionals, Homeowners and Attorneys.

Monarcha Marcet

Ms. Marcet is Owner/President of Adventure in Building, Inc. She is a licensed Building Contractor with the State of Florida (CBC028164) having received a Bachelor of Design in Architecture and a Master of Building Construction from the University of Florida

(Go Gators!). 

A Bachelor of Design in Architecture degree laid the foundation for an understanding of working drawings and an ability to visualize three dimensions from two - a critical strength in quantity take-offs from plans.

Ms. Marcet has the reputation of being "detailed oriented" and takes pride in noticing those aspects of a project often overlooked by others.
